SIDEKICK 8 way 500 Series Rack with super power filter backplane PCB

and +/-16v @ 2A type and 48v @150mA VI green SMPS external power supply,

which make this rack & power supply quieter than a linear power supply.  

Runs on any mains power in the world 85vac to 250vac.

Sidekick rack

Love mine - very well built, easy swap between rack mounted and portable with the handle. No noise, no issues powering 8x Neve type mic pres. XLRs + DB25 is also super useful. Taking it for another location recording in a few days. (Fri Jan 12 2024, 14:01 pm )

Best mobile 500 rack out there!

I have just bought my second one! The workmanship is perfect! The customer service too! The lid idea is very nice and saves me from buying an additional case. But most of all, that this is the only 500 rack out there (as far as I know) that has d-sub AND xlr AND 8 slots, which was exactly what I was looking for! Easy one-click integration with the D-Sub in the studio, but also flexible on the road when you need to access each channel differently without a patchbay. I don't need the extra rubber feet on the side, they also look a bit strange in terms of design (to me), but you can just unscrew them! :) Thanks a lot JLM! :) (Sat Jan 08 2022, 01:14 am )
