Hi Joe
In your MP8 product you mention digital control and recall. I wanted to clarify exactly what this means. I am working on building my second remote recording rig. The current one is based on a passive splitter at the stage with signals routed to 24 channels of rack pres back at the recording station or truck. I have decided to move to putting the pre-amps at the splitter and routing the line level signal to a MADI converter then sending the MADI back to the truck. The problem I want to address is remotely controlling the Pres from the station or truck. Is the MP8 capable of being controlled remotely via Midi signals?

Re: MP8 digitally controlled
Sorry I missed this new thread.
The MP8 front panel controls can be about a 100 or so meters away from the 8 channel slave mic pre box. The one MP8 front panel can control 64 channels of MP8 pres remotely. Only 1 lan cable or mic cable is needed to link the MP8 front to the 8 to 64 MP8 remote mic pres. The MP8 front panel controls can also store several full setups for instant recall.
