Fit all black 10 to 50 pin headers with their keyway gaps facing the same way as the pcb overlay shows.
Check before soldering all headers are facing the same direction as it will be impossible to remove them once soldered.
Place something flat over the top of all the headers and flip the pcb over to solder all the pins on the back of the pcb.
Fit the 2 battery holders so the + and – line up with the overlay on the top of the pcb and solder them on the back of the pcb.
Fit the green and red leds so the long leg goes into the square pad at the top of the led position
Fit the 1k resistor either way around and solder on the bottom of the pcb
Screw on the 6 metal standoff legs with the bolts and lock washers provided and fit 2 AAA batteries to use the tester.
If cable doesn't have a short or reversal the green OK led will light
If cable has a short no led will light
If the cable has a reverse connector the red led will light
