When you say they were both the same. Do you mean the 2 BIOs with the jumper wires fitted or the whole EQs?
So are both Eq are boosting the same 20dB?
The passive Eq circuit should loose 20dB and the BIO500T should make up that with 20dB gain with a couple of dB trim from the trimpot to match them to unity.
What are you using to test?
Is the test AD/DA fully balanced in and out?
Do the blue leds light and can you hear the relay click on and off?
Yes, both unit pass the two wire test and the eq behave the same way.
I'm using Focusrite Red line16 for testing so fully balanced.
Led lights are ok and I can hear two consecutive clicks one after another when powered off.
I have a LA500 if that can be used in diagnostic somehow.
I'm using Sidekick for power which I have tested with other modules. I can test with another power supply not made by me.
EDIT: Tested it in WesAudio Supercarrier II and got the same results.

Beside the extra gain can you lower the input level and let me know if any all eq pots seem to be working especially the lo boost and lo cut 16dB full range ? As i am trying to see it this is an open circuit pot problem.
Earlier measuremets were done at -6 dbu. So I´ve got 10 db headroom after the 20 db gain that PEQ500 added. The Magnitude scale don´t tell anything about the levels in which the measurements were done. I tried measuring with -16 dbu signal and the results were the same. I got only 1,5db boost at full settings. Cuts works normally and I got around 20 db cuts.
In this screenshot blue is hard bypass, green bypass, red 300hz at full settings, yellow 300hz cut full settings.

I finally spotted your mistake you have the 1kB LIN and 10kB LIN pots swapped on the high boost and hi cut pcbs which is causing this problem.

YES! This was it. I changed them and now it works! Thank You for support! I got confuced with the stereo pair markings on those pots. Both read 10,xx so for some reason I stopped reading circuit board and other markings.
I even made the other one symmetrical with mistake in the name of "stereo pair".
Hope this will helps diagnostics if someone ever makes similar mistake!

Cool great to hear you have them both working Enjoy
