TA7322P to dual NE5532A in Yamaha M1532 (similar to PM2000)

First time modder, and first time poster here.

I built the boards referenced above, but I don't see any visual indication as to which way they should be installed. They fit in either orientation and I don't see any markings indicating if the component should face the top of the console, or the bottom. Can anyone help me out? Here is a pic...

Yes where the name of the ic you are replacing is written on the curved end of the adaptor pcb is pin 1. Pin 1 is rectangle with square corners and also has a dot on it. So where TA7322 is written is your pin 1. On the Yamaha pcb pin 1 is usually shown as a rounded white end with 1 beside it on the overlay.
IC4 in your photo is correct. IC3 needs to be turned around.

Joe, If I were able to source some OPA2604s, could I just replace the diodes with jumpers and use them on this adapter? Would the resistors still need be there or would those go as well?

If they were old original OPA2604A yes as they can run on +/-24v. New smaller internal fab OPA2604A can only run on +/-18v. The OPA2604A is noiser than NE5532A

Depends on if there is decoupling caps and resistors on the PCB then yes bypass them but keep the 1uF cap.
