VU Buffer and Peak LED Kit with SIFAM AL29 and bipolar powersupply

hello
I am intersted in your «VU Buffer and Peak LED Kit» to drive 8 SIFAM AL29 VU Meters in a ADD mixing console. Following are my questions:
- Is it possible to feed the powewr with a bipolar power supply (+17 / -17 / 0V). The power section of your kit wants +V and 0V only.If yes how I had to do this.
- I want to take the audio line signal paralel directely from the xlr output of each busstrip of the mixer. Does this work with this kit without any distortion or loss of the line signal? How can I bring the line signal from the mixer output into the kit to the VU without disturbing or reducing the actual output signal?
- In the SIFAM AL29 are some diods. How I jump the rectifier in your kit?
