Hi guys, I searched the forum without success.
How can I remote switch this version of the FET DI ?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Simple mod for remote switching. Cut track under pcb and use SPST switch to 0v

Re: FET DI 06/09 HOW TO REMOTE SWITCH ?
Thank you Joe !
The switching works perfectly.
One more question..
At very high gain I can hear and measure some 100Hz hum coming from the DI (not when switched to mic input)
I tried different ground schemes with no success, I measure no ripple on the 48V supply.
I don't think it could be "induced" noise but it looks like it is something related to filtering.
P.S.: The DI is connected to a racked Neve 33114 module, 6k8 resistor are mounted directly on the XLR Mic input.
The switching works perfectly.

If running 48v smps direct to FETDI 48v it can be best to add 10R in series with the 48v rail so the 100uF cap on the DI smooths the power rail better.

Fit a shorting plug into the DI input and see if the hum is still there or not?neeno wrote: ↑Thu Feb 18, 2021 6:40 pmThank you Joe !
