Bassivus, this may be an obvious suggestion, and pardon me if it is - but did you try adjusting the trim pot to a lower setting. It seems like you're maxing out your meter with an already hot, line-level signal, and then boosting it the buffer circuit. Or maybe the other way round - I just watched y...
