Hi Chris, Thanks for the info. I run the old ones of +/-24v at the moment and they do sound brilliant so not sure if I'll ever try this with higher rails for the older ones. The idea was more practical than sonic difference, I just read off Joe's site that the older ones work best at +/-34v. Now if ...

Hello all, Thought it would be good to ask this question here so we all know. The JLM sight says that old 99v's use +/-24v but work best on a higher supply up to +/-34v. Now I have some of the new +/-16v 99v's and was curious if they could take higher supply rails or if +/-16v is the maximum supply?...
