Size of hole in BA/BA

can anyone tell me how big is the transformer hole in the BA/BAD PCBs? i would like to use Jensen transformers but i dont know if they will fit directly on the PCB.

The Hole is 8mm. The Jensens from memory need a 3/8 (9.5mm) hole. You can drill out the hole if you use fibre washers under the transformer and above the nut. There are 2 tracks which will be slightly cut but they are not needed for transformers that have wires and as long as they don't short to the transformer it would all work fine. Just check that the diameter of the transformer is no larger than 1.1inch (28mm).

thank you for replying so quickly Joe. the Jensen website says they are 3/8" so maybe drilling the board will be the way to go. ive never like the idea of drilling into a PCBs my self but maybe i will have to get used to the idea.
Maybe i will just start with a kit with the 1:4 transformers then look at the Jensen's again but we will see.
