I purchased and assembled the mentioned limiter kit some time ago, and took it to a friend's audio shop for calibration. We discovered that while the unit was electrically active, the front meter was not lighting up, in fact that entire front circuit panel wasn't responding. Could it be an issue with the cable connecting them? Or something else? I no longer have access to my friend's audio equipment for testing, so I'm at a loss of what to do.
Any suggestions?

Send me photos of the inside of the LA500A kit so I can check your build over for you.ruben759 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 9:57 amI purchased and assembled the mentioned limiter kit some time ago, and took it to a friend's audio shop for calibration. I could take it apart for a better view, if you like. Thanks for the quick response, would love to get it working properly.

Re: LA500A Kit Issue
The build looks fine. The meter LED may have accidentally been blown during the testing which will stop the comp from removing the hard bypass relay.
With switch in VU or GR and module powered up measure voltage across the 2 meter LED terminals led A and Led k on the meter should be around 2v.
If volts is way higher add a wire across the meter outside terminals for the led link led A to led k with wire. And try the comp to see if all functions work but there will be no led light in the meter.
