I just put together a Powerstation V3, and am only getting a maximum of 34v on the 48v circuit. Am I doing something obviously wrong with the power transformer? I am in the US.
Edit: Ok, I see what I did wrong, I put both leads from the transformer into both of the AC inputs. I moved one to the 0v and I am getting correct voltages across all outputs. I saw in the forums that when connected this way it should only be used with low current loads. How low current are we talking about? Can I power a 4 channel API 312 clone with it? Thanks ahead of time!

Re: Powerstation V3 Low Voltage
Yes it will run 4 x API312 easy as you have way higher voltage than needed (24vac = +/-35vdc unreg) so will not go out of regulation.jlrichardson51 wrote:I just put together a Powerstation V3, and am only getting a maximum of 34v on the 48v circuit. But this will make a lot of extra heat so make sure all regulators are bolted to a large good heatsink or chassis.
