Hey Joe,
I have a couple Solid State Pultecs that I've built up (with API 2520's) The original output transformers were Triad HS56. 1:1 600 ohm.
I happen to have a couple JLM 111DC transformers here. What do you think about possibly using these as the outputs? If they would work, how exactly should I connect them?
Jon
JLM 111DC as SS Pultec output?

Re: JLM 111DC as SS Pultec output?
HI Jon. Yes will work fine. Use 33R (in series with 470uF if there is any DC) from 2520 output to +1 on JLM111DC and wire -1 to 0v. Use +2 on JLM111DC as +out to pin 2 XLR and -2 on JLM111DC as -out to pin 3 XLR and 0v to pin 1 XLR.Jonk wrote:Hey Joe,

Or you can wire as 1:2 for 6dB extra gain by
Use 33R from 2520 output to +1 on JLM111DC and wire -1 to 0v. Use +2 on JLM111DC as +out to pin 2 XLR and -3 on JLM111DC as -out to pin 3 XLR and 0v to pin 1 XLR. Link -2 to +3 on JLM111DC
