Cooking DI board

Post by yjshliae »

Hi, I'm pretty well there with a dual 99v kit, except for one of the DI boards which smoked on startup and cooked a 22 ohm resistor. A tech friend who is trying to diagnose it for me says he can probably sort it if he can see a schematic, rather than the overlay. Is there one? I can't find it anywhere on the site or in the build threads.

If the 22R burnt then there must be a solder short and probably one or both 2SK170 Fet's are dead.

Is either of the 470R resistors hot or burnt as well?

Send me an email request for the schematic and I will email it to you.
Joe :-)
