Hi
I've built a pair of THATmic preamp kits:

and was wondering if the gobetween/gobetween plus would be compatible (so I can give it phase and pad switching), and whether I would gain anything by using an input transformer (again, would it be compatible?)
Thanks a lot for any help..
Use of Go between/Go between plus?

Yes both ideas are compatible. You would have to use the GO Between or PLUS kit to do the 48v switching as well by moving the 48v power rail to the 48v terminal on the GO between / PLUS kit.ramshackles wrote:Hi

If you want to use the PLUS and input transformer just change R1 on the THATmic PCB to match the input transformer as it is the RLoad. eg R1 = 10k for JLM14 input transformer or 27K for OEP/VTX. This would give you mic pre some tonal warmth
