thermal paste and line regulators

Post by atticmike »

Hey there,

Got a quick question about line regulators and the usage of thermal paste on them.

Does regular thermal paste actually lead electricity or can I put it between the plastic layer, line regulator and chassis?

Thanks in advance.

I think you mean voltage regulator. All of our kits have stick on grey silicon thermal insulation pads which do NOT need any extra paste.

Mica clear washer need paste. The white thermal paste is NOT conductive but silver thermal paste like used on computer CPU is conductive.
