Re: AC/DC & POWERSTATION KIT BUILD THREAD

hey there, What am I supposed to do if I for example didn't want the +48V rail from the AC/DC kit? What parts should I leave out? Same goes for the powerstation, in case I wouldn't want +V1 and -V1? Does is suffice if I just leave out the linear regulator 317 / 337? --- This question is a bit more ...

thermal paste and line regulators

Hey there,

Got a quick question about line regulators and the usage of thermal paste on them.

Does regular thermal paste actually lead electricity or can I put it between the plastic layer, line regulator and chassis?

Thanks in advance.

Re: JLM Powerstation - Two different AC in

Howdy fellas, I got a question regarding the powerstation. Is it possible to go into the powerstation with two different voltages under the PSU's board? (Powering each two rails with a different secondary voltage?) Mike No if you mean different windings for +/-V1 and +/-V2. Yes if you mean differen...

SSL Frankenstein Box

Howdy fellas, In this thread, it is all about ssl and their modules in an attempt to rack em up in the same box. A 4H 19" rack will contain the following units: 1 x SSL X-Rack XR425 E-Series EQ Module ( + / - 15 V & + 5 V) 1 x SSL 5000 series Stereo Input Module 521 ( + / - 17.5 V ≈ & - 24 V) 1 x SS...
