Re: TREX and TREX2 Transistor regulator kit
Actually, i finished the M1 outputs and i got Hum on my Firewire (e.g. M1 Mixbus output from the WBS), but that's just solely related to the WBS, which i will address. It's more or less symmetric vs. non-symmetric. from the PSU side, this is by far the best solution :-) Thanks again for any help. I'...

Re: TREX and TREX2 Transistor regulator kit
Thanks for the info. I've implemented it and now got a fully blown two channel racking It's working perfectly, thanks for the good tip + advice. NO noise or hum at all.

Re: TREX and TREX2 Transistor regulator kit
Short one: If i need a +25V and -25V can i modify the TREX to get this values (probably with another TIPxxx transistor). I need those +/-25V for WBS rack ...
Thanks for any hints/infos.

Re: Beta Testers for new unreleased JLM kits
If you're looking for another "Euro"-Beta Tester i am here
Have done lots of 19" rackings, about 10 51X modules and around 150 modular synth modules.
medium skill for debugging, have scope, meters etc.

Re: AC/DC & POWERSTATION KIT BUILD THREAD
Thanks for pointing that out. Will (again) fix the wiring. Last question: HUM elimination. I am having a substantial portion of humming on the channels when i touch the chassis. I tried different points of grounding, but which way is the correct one? I assume Chassis should go to Chassis GND, same a...

Re: AC/DC & POWERSTATION KIT BUILD THREAD
Hi Joe,
AC/DC Kit now working fine. What was the issue ? One: One of the AC feeds was reversed (probably minor, but still) and fixed. And you were right on the 317/337 combo. Wonder why i haven't seen that before
48V, +/- 18V now provided steady thanks for the excellent help.

Re: AC/DC & POWERSTATION KIT BUILD THREAD
i am stuck with a problem, which you might be able to sort out with me: Feed: - Primary Feed is 220V - Secondary Feed 2 x 25V Toriod (Farnell MC-146-030-125) - wired as chassis gnd, orange, yellow, black, red My aim: - 48V for Phantom Mic - V+/V- 18V for 2 DDA Channel Rackings My problem: - 48V coul...
