Hey folks. I just finished my JLM BAD Kit yesterday. When i tested it out there where no mid or lows comeing through to my recorder. Hey thanks. The pre looks really cool. Unfortunately it doesn't come as a kit. Does any of the DIY kits resmble the TG500? It sounds like the preamp is a simple FET transistor design but there is no description of opamps etc.? Im still a n00b in regards to this preamp stuff so please excuse my ignor...

Hey. I have been recording some stuff in a friends studio useing a Chandler Germanium preamp. I really like the sound that it brings to a recording. Does any of the JLM mic preamps have the same vintage character as the Chandler Preamp?
