Hey Mick, Chrisp has it right about the TG (except for the API comparison as its nothing like an API!). I have a mixed rack with a TG and a 99V pre and its just about the only mic pre box I use now. Between those two you can do almost anything, and they compliment eachother perfectly. I dont think w...

Yep thats a standard API lunchbox with our 6ch headphone mixer module that replaces the API power supply face plate. It also has a switch to listen to each pair of modules, just for the AES show, normally the mixer doesnt have this. Those modules are all pre assembled not kits but there are plans fo...

No, if you want to use them over stereo mixes youd build them with switched cut/boost (like mine) so theyre matched left and right and easily repeatable. Pots are far too inaccurate to use for that job.

No sorry, we only really have time to do the panels for our own gear (and barely enough time for that!).

We can mill them, we do that for the vast majority of kit buyers. You should have asked! Just email/call Joe sometime next week and well sort you out.

Give us some idea of what people would want to pay for a full kit for an amp like this (ie drilled case included). Or would you just want parts and make your own case?

Well probably be making a tube amp for it at some point. But really, the solid state version sounds better on more things, so thats our 'default' pultec.

The dINgO kit is up on the website now btw. The peq kits wont be toooo much longer...

You mean you cant tell from the photo?? :P Were actually going to make just such a board, as the amount of wiring is silly for such a simple box. The pad/load values are easy enough to figure out but are partly done to taste - we did play with them for a while to get it to sound the way it does. See...

Exactly. The reason we still do is partly a hangover from the days of analog recording and partly to do with wanting to design gear that can be used in any interfacing situation without the user having to think too hard about what theyre doing. You want to be able to patch your gear together in any ...

taking the BA configuration i heard as a base, i want something richer in the mids (richer, not punchier  ), with tighter bass response and just a hint of sparkle, and i really want to hear more "hair" so to speak, a more pronounced fingerprint, but more balance as well, while retaining that ...
