Joe,
From what I understand one can only use two relays via one switch at a time?
Please correct me if I am wrong.
So like a register of 3 inputs; 1 cancels out 2 and 3. 2 cancels 1 and 3 and so on?
Is there a way to make it so all can be on or off?
Thank you

Re: Passive Controller Build Thread Ver 1 & 2
5k pots work. Everything you are asking is on page 2 of this thread. Go to the bottom of the page for Joe's latest labeling of the pcb but he very accurately describes the in out wiring about halfway down the page.

Re: DINGO PCB and kit BUILD THREAD
Okay I am going a little crazy. So I am using two dingos in a monitor controller. I had them up and running I thought, One is working fine right now, the other is.... Not. I am using Ne5532's. I have a signal tracer and the signal stops at R9/R10. I have replaced R9 and R10. I swapped the Ne5532's. ...

Re: Passive Controller Build Thread
Joe Unfortunately I don't have the ribbon cable and am gonna be connecting the ins to the summing bus of my mixer as well as an external in. The outs will be connected to some Regurgitators that I am using for my monitor outs. I have made another little diagram could you please check it for me. I ho...

Re: Passive Controller Build Thread
Hey Joe
Is there a link that shows the db25 or jlm io port pin outs? I've searched all over but i can't find a definitive jlm io port schematic anywhere or at the very least a pcb which i can retrace the circuit backwards to figure it out myself.
Thanks
Dylan

Re: Passive Controller Build Thread
If the centre rotary mode switch mono, stereo , rev is not fitted the mode connector can allow these functions to be done with external switches instead. Care to elaborate (via a diagram if possible  )but I'd definitely suffice with an explanation. I'm leaning in this external switch directio...

Re: Passive Controller Build Thread
Thanks a bunch Joe for the replies. I had read this article and built their project years ago. To see it on a pcb is awesome especially that you made it so modifiable.

Re: Passive Controller Build Thread
If the contacts link top to bottom then yes should work perfectly. but not sure how you will make the led turn on and off :-) Yes the contacts are supposed to link top to bottom of each side. I believe when the button is engaged it turns the led on but I haven't used them yet. They are also rated a...

Re: Passive Controller Build Thread
Okay a few more questions.
The farthest left switch is the 'source' or 'input' switch. Is it an A - B switch or is there a mute in between?
What is 'mode" on the bottom right? Another mode switch?
And finally the pot is probably 10k dual gang rev log?
Cheers

Re: Passive Controller Build Thread
I've got these great illuminated push button EAO switches I'd like to use for my mute and dim switches. The switches have four pins (not including the led power pins) and are dpst. Can I wire them like I've drawn in the pic below? Thanks again Joe! Dylan https://s26.postimg.org/e8suks2vt/Passive_Con...
