Re: V6 Power Supply Build Thread
Thanks joe! A question that is perhaps silly... Once powered up should the + and - rails buzz out on a multimeter? Both to each other and to ground? It’s only doing this once powered up I’m troubleshooting to see where a problem with my Soundcraft 200b is located and this is killing me. Voltage rail...

Re: V6 Power Supply Build Thread
Hi Joe,
just to clarify on combining the rails in your last example. Which resistors are getting subbed out for 5w? I can't see any .1R resistors on the PCB.
Thanks

Re: V6 Power Supply Build Thread
Hi Joe,
Could you give a bit of a run down on the jumpers? I can't find this info anywhere...
I'm trying to get V3 putting out 48v (this part seems obvious..) and one more rail of +/-17v (so I'm guessing combining V1 and V2 rails?).
Thanks

Re: AC/DC & POWERSTATION KIT BUILD THREAD
Is it at all possible for me to use a single secondary AC transformer to get +/-30V from one of the AC/DC 3 rail kits? I'm struggling to find a dual sec. transformer that will fit in the space I need it to, but can find a couple that would put out a single 36v or 48v AC secondary voltage and will al...

Re: REPRO Passive reamp Box Build Thread
Ha, yep. Thought that might be it. That's definitely the plan, though I'd like to build a few into a 1ru chassis as it's more functional than a reamp box to me. It'd just be nice to be able to have a single reamp channel be able to feed 2 amps/pedals rather than use 2 REPRO channels on the one sourc...

Re: REPRO Passive reamp Box Build Thread
Legend, thanks Joe.
Any easy way to avoid that possibility?

Re: REPRO Passive reamp Box Build Thread
Is it possible to add a second 1/4" unbalanced output to these by just piggy backing another jack onto the first?
Or perhaps more complicated?
Thanks

Should have just checked the build thread!
Thanks alot!

Re: API transformer swap?
Oops ignore what I said re: the extra legs. I realise now I am thinking of the 99v's legs!
But looking into it some more, is it worth thinking about the 2520 opamps along with the EA2622's?
Thanks again!

API transformer swap?
Hey All, I have a rack of 4 Baby Animals that I built around 6 years ago. I got them all pretty straightforward with JLM1:4 & JLM99v in all 4 channels. Lately I was thinking of swapping the input transformers to the API Classic EA2622 on a couple channels. Im just wondering if its a straight swap fo...
