So the PM2000 is using the NE80200 or NE80100 (don't have schematic) for the line amp. That's nice. Joe, you say the buffer amp and summing amp on the master channel affect the sound; what suggestions do you have for changing those and/or the line amp?

I am trying to beef up the master section of my Yammy M1516 with some super snappy fast opamps to offset the softer channel strips. I am interested in building two of these with trannies. However, I will not be powering from a 48v source, rather 9v batteries. Obviously I will have to pair up to get +18v, but wonder how I can get power for the LED with only 18v? Chris, what are you using to fasten the input transformer to the box...

PM2000 EQ Mod Kits in PM1516,24,32 & PM1000
I just picked up a Yamaha M1516a 16 channel board on Ebay and noticed that the EQ looked almost identical to that of the PM2000. I wonder if the PM2000 EQ mod kit will work for this board? Anyone tried it?
